Bedoba Saperavi 2021

The Bedoba Saperavi 2021 is a dynamic red wine made from Georgia’s signature Saperavi grape, known for its deep colour and bold flavours. This wine is crafted from organically farmed vines over 30 years old, grown at high altitudes in the Kakheti region. The cool climate and unique soil composition ensure the grapes reach optimal ripeness while maintaining the necessary acidity for balance.

The wine presents a vibrant, deep red colour, with an aromatic profile that combines dark fruit notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, and plum. There are subtle hints of black pepper, herbs, and floral undertones, which enrich the overall complexity. The rich texture is complemented by well-integrated tannins and a long, smooth finish, highlighting the purity of the fruit and the meticulous winemaking.

The grapes are fermented in stainless steel and qvevris (traditional Georgian clay vessels), offering a unique expression of both modern and ancient winemaking methods. The wine undergoes aging in both oak and qvevris.
