Casa Bottega Prosecco Spumante DOC Brut originates from the Province of Treviso in the Veneto region of northern Italy. This area is well-known for its ideal conditions for growing Glera grapes, thanks to its alluvial clay soils and a mild climate. Treviso lies at the heart of the Prosecco DOC zone, recognised globally for producing fresh and elegant sparkling wines.
Made from 100% Glera, this is a classic Prosecco in a Brut style. It features a straw-yellow colour with golden highlights and a fine, persistent perlage. The wine is light, fresh and elegantly lively, suited both for casual enjoyment and celebratory moments.
Grapes are hand-picked around mid-September and handled carefully to avoid damage and oxidation. After gentle pressing and removal of stems and skins, the first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts. The second fermentation follows the Martinotti (Charmat) method in closed pressure tanks at 15°C, preserving the grape's primary aromas. The wine is then cold stabilised, filtered, and bottled.
The nose is delicately fruity, offering notes of apple, white peach, and citrus, with subtle floral nuances of acacia. On the palate, it is light, fresh, and vibrant with an elegant balance of acidity and residual sugar (10–13 g/l), resulting in a refined and pleasantly dry finish.
Ideal as an aperitif or in cocktails. Pairs beautifully with fish-based starters, risottos, and dishes featuring wild herbs, white meats, pizza, and vegetables such as asparagus or Treviso radicchio. It also complements salami and medium-aged cheeses.
The gift box contains two flute glasses.
