The Castello di Verrazzano Chianti Classico 2020 is made from 95% Sangiovese grapes and 5% complementary varieties. It undergoes fermentation in stainless-steel tanks with 15 days of maceration, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 18 months and 4 months in bottle. The wine features a ruby red colour with a bouquet of ripe red fruits like cherry and blackberry, complemented by floral notes. On the palate, it is balanced with a fine tannic structure, a smooth finish, and oak nuances.
Pairs well with Tuscan appetizers, red meat dishes, and game.
