Gosset Grande Réserve Brut Champagne hails from the Champagne region in northeastern France, one of the world's most iconic and prestigious wine-producing areas. Known for its chalky soils and unique climate, Champagne is renowned for producing sparkling wines of exceptional quality, and Gosset, established in 1584, is one of the oldest Champagne houses, celebrated for its artisanal methods and commitment to excellence.

This Champagne is a blend of 45% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, and 10% Pinot Meunier. The predominance of Pinot Noir gives it depth and structure, while Chardonnay adds elegance and a mineral finish. The 10% Pinot Meunier brings fruitiness and a touch of roundness. The final blend creates a Champagne that is balanced, with a harmonious interplay of freshness, fruit, and complexity. It is crafted in a brut style, maintaining a clean profile that appeals to a broad range of palates.

After the harvest, it is aged for a minimum of four years in the cellars, allowing the wine to develop richness and depth. Then it is disgorged and returned to the cellars for at least six months to rest and smoothly integrate the dosage.

It displays a luminous golden hue in the glass. On the nose, expect a vibrant freshness with scents of lemon meringue pie and yellow fruit, such as Mirabelle plums. As the Champagne warms, more complex notes emerge, including hints of honey and lightly toasted nuances. On the palate, the flavours of hawthorn and white flowers blend beautifully with a crisp acidity, balanced by the citrus notes that sustain a refreshing finish. The wine's complexity and elegance make it a truly exceptional Champagne.

This champagne complements roasted chicken, poultry in creamy sauces, and pâté en croûte. It also pairs wonderfully with cheeses such as Comté or Parmesan. Its freshness and structure make it a fantastic match for seafood dishes, particularly shellfish like oysters or langoustines.
