Chateau Pibran Pauillac 2018
The Chateau Pibran Pauillac is a distinguished Bordeaux red from the Pauillac appellation, renowned for its rich gravel soils. This terroir is ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which form the backbone of the wine (54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot). Pauillac wines are known for their power, structure, and age-worthy characteristics.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new, enhancing its complexity and depth. It presents bold aromas of blackberries, cassis, and cherry, with notes of cedar, tobacco, and vanilla from the oak. The palate is full-bodied with ripe tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering finish that showcases its aging potential.
Ideal with rich dishes such as roast lamb, grilled ribeye steak, or game meats. It also pairs well with hard cheeses like Comte or Gruyere.
