Hailing from the prestigious Champagne region in France, Veuve Clicquot Réserve Cuvée reflects the tradition of the iconic house established in 1772. The wine benefits from a blend of grapes sourced from over 50 crus, with a significant proportion from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. The terroir, marked by chalky soils and a cool continental climate, contributes to its freshness, finesse, and complexity.

This champagne is crafted from a blend of 50-55% Pinot Noir, 28-33% Chardonnay, and 15-20% Pinot Meunier, showcasing the balance between power, elegance, and fruitiness. The use of up to 45% reserve wines—aged for extended periods—ensures consistency and depth in its style.

The wine is a blend of 50–60 base wines from 5–6 vintages, with the reserve wines aged in individual vats to preserve their character. The dosage liqueur, aged in oak barrels for 12 months, enhances its roundness and aromatic complexity. After secondary fermentation, the champagne spends additional time aging on its lees to develop its creamy texture and refined bubbles.

Visually, it displays a golden colour with fine bubbles. Aromas of peach, apricot, and pear are complemented by subtle notes of vanilla, spices, and brioche. On the palate, it is elegant and round, with flavours of toasted nuts, praline, and baked pastry, leading to a long, balanced finish.

This champagne pairs beautifully with shellfish, salmon, soft cheeses. Serving temperature 8-10°C.
