Ca Dei Frati Pietro Dal Cero 2017
Ca Dei Frati Pietro Dal Cero 2017 is a distinguished Amarone della Valpolicella crafted from hand-harvested grapes. After being dried for four months in crates, the grapes undergo maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures in 100% new American oak barriques for 24 months, followed by an additional two years in bottle, resulting in a rich and complex profile.
This deep ruby red wine boasts intense aromas of cherries, chocolate, and sweet spices, with balsamic notes of aniseed and wild mint developing over time. On the palate, it is full-bodied with great acidity, remarkable minerality, and supple tannins. The long, rounded finish reveals delicate hints of coffee and sweet tobacco.
This wine is a perfect match for dishes like braised meats, roasted lamb, or aged cheeses.
